Lake Willoughby, located in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, is known as the "Jewel of the Kingdom". It was carved by ancient glaciers and is the deepest lake in the state at 320'. Willoughby is reminiscent of a Norwegian fjord and is framed by Mount Pisgah and Mount Hor which plunge into the narrowest and deepest part of the lake.
